Ratings and charges
The Usability Exchange independently rates all testers according to the quality of testers' responses on completed tests. Testers are also scored on their reliability - the proportion of tests they complete from all the tests they are sent. These two scores are combined to create an overall rating, which determines the hourly rate testers charge for conducting tests.
In advanced tests, organisations are free to choose different testers based on their price and their rating:
The system of ratings encourages users to complete tests and to provide high quality feedback - good testers will be rated more highly and will be paid more per test.
